OUGD503: STUDIO BRIEF 1 - Individual Practice // Secret 7 Planning

Well you're dirty and sweet
Clad in black, don't look back and I love you
You're dirty and sweet, oh yeah
Well you're slim and you're weak
You've got the teeth of the hydra upon you
You're dirty sweet and you're my girl

Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on

Well you're built like a car
You've got a hub cap diamond star halo
You're built like a car, oh yeah
Well you're an untamed youth
That's the truth with your cloak full of eagles
You're dirty sweet and you're my girl

Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on - oh

Well you're windy and wild
You've got the blues in your shoes and your stockings
You're windy and wild, oh yeah
Well you're built like a car
You've got a hub cap diamond star halo
You're dirty sweet and you're my girl

Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on - ooh

Well you're dirty and sweet
Clad in black, don't look back and I love you
You're dirty and sweet, oh yeah
Well you dance when you walk
So let's dance, take a chance, understand me
You're dirty sweet and you're my girl

Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on - ow
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on - ow - get it on - ow

Get it on, bang a gong, get it on - a-a-a-a
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on - a-a-a-a ....
Take me, for a meanwhile I'm still thinking ....

I think It might work to focus on a particular line in the lyrics, those who know the song well should recognise it, just from one line of the lyrics. Which means, If I can communicate a particular imagery you obtain from a line in the song, through the use of imagery, I should succeed in communicating the song title…

I quite like the idea of the hub cap, I can do some nice illustrations with it, I think. A hub cap relates to the metaphorical classification of his lover, a woman, as a car.

The theme of the Secret 7 website; it is covered in gradients. It's a theme throughout. I think including a gradient would add to the theme. Below is some of Adobe's built in swatches which I think might work well as a negative to the background, or the background itself.
